The Verandah is located in the heart of the city, close to shopping, parks, waterfront, Point Pleasant Park, Public Gardens, Citadel Hill, and much more. Situated on the grounds of Dalhousie University, Spring Garden Road is only a stone's throw away, where you have all the shops and restaurants you want.

Halifax is known for its wonderful history of ocean going vessels. Take a tour of our beautiful Harbor in one of the sail boats or touring boats. Sit in one of our outside restaurants looking at the water activities while you enjoy the great fresh fish of Nova Scotia. Meet and greet your friends on the exciting walkways surrounding the harbor.

Reservations

You can e-mail or call (902)-494-9500 for reservations.

Rates:
	$95.00 + HST per night (including breakfast) for my 'Pink' or 'Blue' room.
	$125.00 + HST for the studio apartment, which can accommodate a whole family.
Cancellation policy: 48hours before arrival date.

There is no extra charge for kids under 12 years old.

Reservation Payments:
.	50% at time of reservation (charged to Credit Card) 50% on arrival

Attractions

Halifax is full of attractions for the Tourist.
We enjoy many Dinner Theaters with some outdoor live theaters in the summer. A stroll along Spring Garden Road, the most walked Road in North America, is a Tourist's delight. You have the Public Gardens to walk through and all the restaurants anyone could ever hope for.
Pick up a bag of French fries at Bud the Spud as you go towards the end of Spring Garden, approaching Barrington Street, which will bring you to the museum and our fantastic Water Front. Stop in at Murphy's Wharf on the Water for a great meal or go for a sail on the MARII or Bluenose II .
